I was editing Grasstown's tileset to allow for a few (well, a lot actually) more tiles. In doing so, I have increased the size to 256x256 (from 256x128), and now none of the tiles are working. Why might this happen, and how can I fix it?

Can you offer more details as to what's going on?

Yes. I'm using Sue's editor to edit the maps of my game. Only after resizing the Grasstown tileset, the editor refused to place any tiles. When I tested, thinking they had just not been shown, I found that they had not been placed either. I'll do some more testing with it tonight.

I keep meaning to check this in Sue's but always forget. :x

Regardless, I had a 256x256 tileset once, for the Core in my hack. It worked fine. So it's probably some other problem... Just out of curiousity though (and in the event my memory is broken) did you try reducing it by one tile vertically? (256x240)

Always glad to help out.

Since tiles are stored, IIRC, across a single byte, you probably just exceeded the amount of tile IDs that can be represented by a single byte...
