True. I myself used to use that before I used PDN. I still use CE; but don't EVER use it's sprite editor.

 

Open the game up with a resource hacker and change "Pixel.bmp" to being completely black.

1. I've never understood what the hell Herobrine is and what the obsession is.
2. This community has seen a LOT of recolors of Cave Story sprites. Custom sprites is the way to go.

BL does NOT have a better interface. The only reason to use it is the hackinator. CE is extremely easy to understand, and the script window can be in front of the map editor window instead of it squished to the side.

I mean, BL is exactly CE, but with Autohacker 2 installed, it can list flags for you, has an interface that's so simple, and easy to understand. And also, you CAN make the map editor pop out into a window if you don't like it squished to the side.
