Also known as CS: Retold DX, Cave Story: Retold is my take on a semi-comedic Cave Story sprite comic, with major, MAJOR hints of Homestuck, and is a rework/retread of my prior attempt at this sort of thing. Canon is merely a suggestion. The timeline has shifted significantly. The android has been compromised. The future is bleak. The past never existed. Igor beats up a child at one point.

With your help, perhaps a good ending can be achieved. Will our heroes save the day? Or will PARADOX SPACE catch up to them all and completely doom the timeline?

7/10 needs more british

if i had to criticise something, it's that the textboxes are hard to tell who's talking sometimes - would it be possible to use death generator to make some dialogue boxes + portraits or something?

i mean, yeah it can definitely get tough to tell character dialogue apart, especially when some characters dont have dialogue pics. i'd make my own, but i am NOT good with replicating pixel's style from that time. i dont use death generator for the textboxes because That would mean I'd have to make hundreds and HUNDREDS of boxes as images, and honestly, typing them all out using FlaringK's css is better IMO

but yeah i'll see what i can do.

i suppose a stopgap solution would be to just have the character name before their dialogue like the regular dialoglog?

asides from that, i'm enjoying it so far, excited to see more :]
