Misery (mis)recognising Sue

How did Misery mistake Toroko for Sue when she's the one who turned Sue and Itoh into mimigas? Something doesn't add up. Am I forgetting something?

I did try looking in to see if it was stated that Misery also turned Sue into a mimiga, not that i could find it cuz I'm blind-- but interestingly, cuz I read through Momorin's, Itoh's, and some of Booster's dialogue, as well as in Sue's letter, there was seemingly no mention of Misery turning Sue into one. In fact, it was only mentioned that she turned Itoh into a mimiga.

It is likely that Misery did also turn Sue into one, either from a long distance or from accidental splash magic while turning Itoh into one, outside of Misery's fov, or maybe it was the Doctor who turned her into one, which may explain why he needed her.

 

I doubt Sue was important enough to Misery for her to even commit her human form to memory at the time, much less her appearance as a mimiga.

 

People have a hard time telling animals apart from each other. It makes sense that it would get confused.

To be fair, it is possible to be uncertain if Sue wore a green or a blue top.
