He said there was nothing offensive about the swimsuit picture
The caption under the picture was pretty offensive though and made the image look much less innocent. It's probably why the picture was deleted the first time around (not by me btw, I deleted it the second time).

Well after trolling through an otherwise complete waste of time worth of posted arguments over the issue, I was asked to look into this and make a decision.

Shirofan is the one who first came up with the rules, many of which are not detailed because they cover more ground that way in the general sense. But if you all must have clarification, this is what is considered inappropriate images to be displayed on the forums:

1. Nudity and Sex of any kind is not allowed.

2. Anything portraying women in a demeaning way or with sexual harassment should be subject to being deleted if deemed offensive by members. This includes ridiculously sized breasts and/or extreme attention to breasts, cleavage or genitalia.

So the first image I saw of a swimsuit Curly, didn't really stand out to me as bothersome in the least as swimsuits are fairly acceptable attire for many female game characters. However, the one I saw of Curly with breasts that are so large that they attacking her arms folded across her chest is something I was classify as inappropriate. In that case if a member were to have a problem with it and ask a mod/admin to delete it, there should not be any bitching, whining or complaining about it being removed because it was questionable content to begin with.

I know we're guys, but at least try to show some sort of respect towards the opposite sex.

Family friendly version. You also can't see the blasphemous misspelling of "Mizari".

Don't forget "men". I'm not gay, but I think always talking about "Women" when talking about certain "images" is kind of sexism.

That has nothing to do with respect IMHO. Those are only images, not living creatures or anything. For example I've got some friends who treat women like "Sex Machines", but they are not wachting more porn than me. So it's really a mind thing and personal opinion. I don't think that nudity shows disrespect against any women or men. (btw. why always talking about women? Just because the majority is rather watching women than men?)

Gotta agree with that, although I honestly can't think of any way to portray men in demeaning way. Still, nudity = bad.

I guess that Skye was adressing the second point here, not the first one. It's not that nudity is disrespectful, it's family un-friendly by default, and therefore not allowed by the rule.

I don't mean no disrespect, but this forum isn't very family-friendly sometimes. This is mostly due to Jacob, though I won't say if it's a good thing or a bad thing.

Well first of all, I don't really see how the image that started this whole thread is "disrespectful". And even if it is, it still doesn't seem right to delete it. I'm all for being respectful to everyone, including members of the opposite sex, but if there are people who don't respect the opposite sex, then banning disrespectful images won't change that. Government policy (or in this case, admin policy) should fight the causes of problems, not the effects.
