I think your mod executables might contain a virus dude, avg gave me an alert when I tried to open them.


EDIT: yep, according to wikipedia, Sality is a type of malware/worm that infects exe files.

EDIT No.2: i also can't seem to delete the mod executables.

I'm sure. It says that the threat comes from your mod's folder. You might wanna scan your whole computer.

it's happened numerous times.
my advice is to not play sality-infected mods. it's a particularly prolific bug and I don't know if there's any good way to wipe it out.

At this point, I would advise removing the download.

Also, does anybody have any other advice? AVG automatically detected the virus, as seen in the screenshot i posted, and I've ran a whole computer scan and an anti-rootkit scan with avg, and I'm currently running kaspersky's SalityKiller.


I'm just a little paranoid.

Is this really the first time it's happened? Considering how many mods have been made, i'm kinda surprised it hasn't happened earlier.

my computer reacts like others' did.

 

Guys don't worry about it I am deleting this mod and I am in progress of making a much better and actually useable mod
