My favorite CS soundtrack is the original soundtrack. I don't understand why you'd want to play it any other way.

My favorite soundtrack in cave story is the remastered soundtrack , we all have our tastes.

I like the WiiWare Soundtrack, but my favorite is the original.

Cave Story is the kind of game you need to hear the background music in. If you've played CS so much that you don't want to hear the BGM anymore... why are you still playing it?

It'd be nice if there was a way to make a hack that makes CS use the remastered soundtrack...

Has anyone even listened to the "New" music in Cave Story +

I haven't just because I can't listen to anything other than the original/remastered music while playing Cave Story.

Wondering if it is any good at all.

It's better than what people give it credit for, but some tracks like Oppression, Last Battle, and Gestation are either too slow and unintensive for a battle, take too long to get to the good part, or otherwise don't really fit the gameplay...but on their own, the whole soundtrack is pretty good, and some tracks like Mimiga Town or Living Waterway are as good, if not better than the original music.

I like the original soundtrack way more. And for the record, Last Battle and Oppresion are awesome. For that matter, so is Running Hell.
