Kitten Battle Dungeon

Kitten Battle Dungeon is going under art style changes because it takes too god damn long to make new art. Possibly some gameplay adjustments as well, more on that later.

 

I feel like the style in that first animated gif looked cleaner.

 

We have different definitions of clean and dirty in art.

 

I think the new style looks fine. Don't worry about it, whatever it takes to get this game made is fine by me.

 

Kitten Battle Dungeon will be split into 2 halves, above and below ground. Currently we are trying to get a feel for these places tonally so I got together the minimum tiles required to assemble both of those environments. Above is a little miniature of those tiles assembled with a color for background.

Also since Noxid has made a lot of the base game, he is making a small experimental one within engine to see what kind of features we could use in the rest of the game. Ambient set pieces was a focus and as a result we got these particle ass cool ass fireflies.

Also Tad is doing concept art but we don't feel comfortable posting that right now.

Dear god, if this is still in the works, it looks amazing. I would and will pay good money for this if it is released.

Lack of updates because some stuff has been moving around in the game to make it finishable and I don't wanna start talking about the game and having it change. Here's an art to satisfy you in the mean time. You might have seen this on the other thread but I'll post it hear as well.

The second picture looks like something that could be in Sonic. I think you should try to put a price on it, but I have discovered that it isn't easy stopping people from piracy.

A good price would be $2-$6.

Perhaps do what Minecraft does, which stops piracy better than other games by making you sign up for some kind of permanent paid account. The actual download could be free, but in order to run it you'd have to log in with your account. This'd also be able to implement some kind of nice multiplayer battle royale or something.

 

If people want to pirate our game I'll link them to the damn torrent and say donate some money if you like it.

No. For all the things I've torrented, regardless of whether or not you could say it was justified, I would think people deserve it as an option. It's just a god damn video game. Plus if someone did that to me it would leave a bad taste in my mouth.

if there's unlockable characters and they have titles noxid's should be sassofrass or something to do with cats and twerking.
