Info bar now on the left

It has come to my attention that the forum design has changed slightly. The poster info bar, which has up until now been on top of every post, is now displayed on the left side. Is this because of some weird vBulletin stuff, or has somebody at the Mirai Gamer HQ gone rogue?
The problem is that contents of these bars have been optimalized for the "Display on Top" setting. Now, the titles and locations are broken into several lines and in shorter posts there is unused space because the bar is just too long. So I (and I believe the others as well) would like to know why did this happen and what was the reasoning behind it, and suggest returning to the old style.

Does it maybe have to do with screen width? I was on a 1024x768 earlier today and this happened, but now I'm on a huge-ass screen (not to be confused with... aww, nvm) and it's back to normal (and it's really gonna annoy me to have to keep switching my user title between "v v Jerk v v" and "<--- Jerk" lol ).

Nope, I haven't changed my resolution and still experienced the same thing.

If it gets changed back it won't be because of you.

Vertical postbit is far better, but since we have user rank images it does look better on Horizontal postbit.

 

How about you making into an option you can change in the User CP?

Not that there's anything wrong with the vertical orientation, aside from the longer locations and user titles being cut up, but I am going to be cantankerous about it because when it comes to the forums I might as well be a curmudgeonly old man.
Oh, and this is how EVERY vBulletin board is formatted. Try being a little different, Mirai Gamer.

 

Yeah I noticed this yesterday but I didn't want to spam about it. Spent about 5 minutes reading everything with my head slightly tilted to the left ._. I think I do prefer the old look better.

Oh, and this is how EVERY vBulletin board is formatted. Try being a little different, Mirai Gamer.

Because it's the best format there is. Plus there are just as many forums that use the Horizontal postbit as the Vertical postbit.
