SHIKI and Shiki are entirely different people. SHIKI is the current vessel of Roa, the main antagonist of the game. He raped Kohaku way back when because he went insane due to his half-demon blood. In the Near-side routes, Roa is able to resurface because SHIKI is able to overcome the insanity, but in the Far-side routes, Kohaku is able to suppress Roa within SHIKI using drugs to keep him insane. Shiki, the protagonist of the game that you play as, rapes Arc in her route. And the best part about it is that she likes it.
To clarify, the black-haired guy is Shiki and the white haired guy is SHIKI/Roa.

The anime is absolutely, terribly, impossibly, disgustingly horrible! Spare your freaking mind, man! Play the game first and read some of the manga before you dare look at the disgrace that is the anime. I mean, for God's sake, in the anime, nothing is explained, all the characters act unrealistically and entirely wrong, Kohaku and Hisui's backstory has been cut out, Nanaya has been cut out, the fight scenes have been reduced to a minimum, powers have been nerfed, I mean, EVERYTHING about the anime is just all wrong! It's an awful mess that Tsukihime fans weep over. The only way it could possibly be redeemed is if they released an OVA series more true to the game, maybe one based on the manga like what was done with Hellsing, but even then the current anime would be looked upon with despair.

Mokou, a human who has ingested the Hourai Elixer and the ashes of a Phoenix to gain immortality and power over fire respectively?
