Kage was stuck in the 'Portal Test Chamber' at Aperture Science for awhile. But he completed the tests, ate some delicious cake and found a portal back here.

Wow, I must have a really strange Cave Story playing style, because Hell was actually pretty easy for me. It took me about 5-10 tries to get past SG-B1, 2-3 tries to get past SG-B2, 5-10 tries for SG-B3. What screwed me over was Ballos' 2nd form (I beat his first on the first try, and after beating his second, I beat him the first time). It took me about 50-100 tries to beat his 2nd form. Granted, it wasn't until around attempt #40 that I realized he was only vulnerable around his eyes. I just kept spamming at him not noticing that his health wasn't going down. I just assumed he had like a billion health and that was why after spamming him for about 5 mins his health had only dropped about 10%.

Skipping the torture chamber to go to Ballos just ruins the whole point of Hell, seriously.
Making a thread like this just plain disappoints hardcore fans of the game who has gone through painstaking torture just to beat Hell.
Actually, andwhy should just remove that patch off the site, srsly.

The save was made for the Ballos water current challenge. It can also help you practice at beating Ballos before you attempt the real thing during a hell run (actually I wouldn't mind hacking one just before Heavy Press for practice). I could put a disclaimer there though that beating Ballos without beating hell earns you no bragging rights (which is the case).jcys810 said:
