Hydorah is a very interesting shmup, and I enjoy it a lot.
I should probably check out more of Locomalito's games.
I think that a handful people on the CSTSF already know about Hydorah or already played it.
For other people on this forum, perhaps they have not heard of it just yet.
But that's perfectly fine, since there are a lot of indie games to sift though on the Internet.
This game is approximately 50 to 250 times harder than a 1 credit clear on any kind of Touhou Lunatic mode,
depending on how good you are at it and how familiar you are with Touhou games.
I should probably check out more of Locomalito's games.

I tried it once and the music didn't work, but apparently a patch released a couple of weeks ago fixed this. In the meantime I watched an LP, and... eh. It's certainly a quality creation, and I like the developer, but large portions of the game look easy/clunky/exploitable. Took a bit too much influence from Gradius perhaps, though this may have been improved as well. We shall c.

For non-Shmup lovers, this game is really difficult.
Shmups themselves are often quite hardcore.
And apparently, ZUN's games are not actually shmups. There is a huge different between slow moving bullet curtain and Hydorah's tiny bullets which you can barely see unless you have a good screen and 20/20 vision.
That's a minor complaint. I'm sure if I replayed Hydorah, it wouldn't really be quite that bad, but the inability to see random small projectiles really frustrated me.

If I remember correctly, Wedge of Cheese's Cave Story Mod the Wrath of RubyLanguageLovers (nobody remembers the original name) had graphics that were inspired by Hydorah.

In one restaurant near my college, there is an old style arcade which includes a real version of Galaga.
They sell pizza, chicken tenders, pasta, cheese sticks, and sausage sandwiches, all of which are really good food dishes.
