Hybrid Translation Mod - Currently for Cave Story+

Both the Aeon Genesis fan translation and the Nicalis official translation have their strength and weaknesses I've felt. So I had the idea to combine what I liked from both of them to create a sort of "hybrid translation". In reality it's more of an editing job than anything but I quite like the results at least and I'd like to share what I've got. Should offer a familiar yet more consistent experience. Feel free to leave feedback.

Should work with the Steam and GOG versions of the game.
Not currently designed for the freeware version but I'm planning to work on it.

Out of curiosity, to what extent was this guided by things that you liked better as a matter of personal preference, and things that you know for a fact are more accurate to the original Japanese?

 

The majority of my editing choices just came from personal preference, yeah. But there were a few changes which I made for accuracy.
