How to use SW with Custom ORG's

Ok just discovered the solution to having Custom ORG's when using Sues Workshop.

Ok first off copy and paste the dokoustu exe and name dokoustu2
After that use resource hacker to import your custom ORG's (into Dokoustu2)
Oh noo! I cant edit my mod anymore!!
actually you can, when you use SW just open up dokoustu.exe (the original)
Your not changing anything in the EXE cus SW doesnt support that at the mo.
all the files your editing are outside the exe which means if you edit all your maps and scripts then run dokoustu2 youll have em all but with your custom ORG's

Done

lol i hope i have helped some people, but if you wanna carry on using SW instead of CE then theres one obstacle gone.
Its a simple soloution but i've just never noticed it before :p

Actually, I remember making a copy of a game but I set the tileset in the shack to hell and the tileset by default is Mimi. But when I started the copy, the tileset was still Mimi and not hell.

But if you already changed the music and could not edit the copy again, you could just make another copy, Re-edit it to your liking, and then add the music.

Also, exactly what is this resource hacker?

Resource Hacker is a free tool and it is the most simple way to import your own ORG's into cave story.

It takes less than a minuete to swap a song in Cave Story with it.

Do you make mods WhyMe?

What an adequate name

Isn't Resource Hacker just a program that hacks the resources of whatever?
{EX: The ORGs, Logo images, and other stuff stored in the Cave Story EXE}

resource hacker doesn't extract the cave story logo to the best of my knowledge (at least, you can't edit it after it is extracted)

I meant the "Pixel 2004" logo that isn't in any of the .PBMs.

Yes, I remember that being in there, the "Pixel 2004" thing. Right under the other Credits pics.

There was something important I wanted to add to the OP, something about waiting until after all your new maps are at least created before using this method; but my brain isn't really working right now and I could be way off.
