Just installed Windows 11, I figured things would work alright except somehow, even with my locale being set to Japanese, I somehow got the mojibake showing up in text. Then I followed this tutorial to enable utf-8 again. So that should be fixed, right?

...No.

Any way to bring the back the Japanese text? Totally not because I'm a weeaboo, but mainly because I've been using the Japanese executable for my mod, because I'm stubborn and I know this could've been very easily avoidable.

EDIT: Maybe there should be a Windows 11 general thread? Because once Windows 10 support ends on October 14, 2025, we're probably going to get a lot more questions like this happening.

Huh, okay. Yeah this is definitely a Windows thing, cuz I had the locale set and utf-8 disabled from the getgo. Would've been nice if settings stayed set during the upgrade from 10 to 11... :toroko:
