I speak 5 languages:

Lithuanian (I live there)
English
German (OK, from school)
Russian (I can read the kyrilica and understand speech if it's not too fast. Russian was mandatory in the soviet union, so I learned some of it from my parents. )
Polish (minimum)

Russian was mandatory in the soviet union, so as most lithuanian kids I learned some of it from my parents.

I can only hope there aren't many 'mericans who only speak one language...

English
German (enough to communicate effectively)
Spanish (just a little bit)

I also know one sentence in French: "Les significacion du les vi es fromaj." meaning "The meaning of life is cheese." though I probably butchered the spelling (I only know how to pronounce it, not write it).

And I know a few words of Japanese from things like Cave Story and Pokemon.

English
Javascript (just enough to get by :D) (yes I speak javascript)
Also a tiny amount of Japanese.
And, like Wedge, I know some sentences in French, but I butcher the pronunciation, not the spelling.

Guilty ^^;

I've forgotten all the stupid Spanish that I had to learn from 1st grade to 8th grade, I know some Japanese, and obviously Latin..but that's not a speaking language.

I'm hoping to learn Japanese fluently (lolweeb) or Russian. Just because.

My apologies. I would sometimes rant about having to study it to certain people on IRC. I suppose 'obviously' was only to a select few. >_> Sorry if that confused you.

Oh lmao, at first I was like "um, am I stupid for not knowing Latin myself? :p"

It seems I forgot to mention computer languages in my earlier post...

TIBasic
Liberty BASIC
DarkBASIC
Visual BASIC
C++
Java
Assembly (x86 or whatever the hell is used on Windows)
HTML (a little)
JavaScript (a little)

Also: sheet music; that's a language kinda.

Oh not at all. Haha. I'm not that much of a pretentious asshole. Latin helps with some parts of English and medical terms, but it's really not a LOL LEARN THIS OR NOT BE SUPER SMRT AND AMAZING thing.

And damn. That is impressive o-o

And learned 2 years of German before I got fed up with the teacher. Enough to keep up a stereotypical conversation.

And hopefully in the next 2 years I can learn a little HTML, Javascript, Visual BASIC, C, C++, C#, etc etc(if those count.)

If you're going to count programming languages as real languages, you might as well include chanspeak as well. It's entirely possible to have a conversation that resembles English, but would make no sense if you're using any dictionary aside from the Urban one.

English, a pretty good amount of HTML, and enough Spanish to communicate with a 5 year old.
