How do I load saves?

Im trying to load a save (Because I forgot to rescue curly D: ) , but im not quite sure how.
The insturctions on the site are complicated.
Can somebody explain how to do it?

 

Download it.
Move it to doukutsu folder.
Delete Profile.dat
Rename your downloaded save to Profile.dat

 

I can't find a folder named doukutru.......
I downloaded the cave story deluxe package by wadezzle if that helps...

Edit: After looking around, I found the folder, but the Profile.dat isn't there, while the readme says it should be. I have already saved the game before, so It should show up.

 

If you have installed the game to C:\Program Files and have windows vista then your OS may have moved it to a directory in your C:\Windows\Users folder. Run a search for the file named profile.dat in your C:\ drive, Windows Explorer is pretty decent for that. It's bound to turn up.
