How do I defeat Monster X in Hard mode?

Like, are there any strategies I should keep in mind?

Just realized i had the worst weapon for this boss, the level 3 blade D:

 

First off : Welcome to the forums! (I had some trouble on my first few days too.)

Second off : My advice is that as soon as you get to Monster X try to multitask as hard as you can and keep track of as many projectile's heading towards you as possible. Use your peripheral vision for Monster X because he is a large object and as long as you jump over him you should be good. All I have.
