It probably took me longer to get through it than it should have, but I ended up getting the normal ending.

I got the machine gun+booster 2.0, (Because I thought Booster should take care of himself, I wasn't using a walkthrough Lol:awesomeface::awesomeface:) learned to machine boost by accident, and beat the Doctor, Misery, and Core in my first try.

Honestly i think most people wouldn't even get the normal ending going blind. Or at least for me. I didn't even know the outer wall was as big as it was.

The first time I played Cave Story, I got stuck on Mimiga Village. I never went to the shack. 3 years later, still haven't beaten it. I'm now in the Sand Zone.
Edit :I'm now in Labyrinth W.

I first played it on my Lakka PC in Feburay of 2018 and I got stuck on Monster X. 6 months later I bought CS+ for Switch and me and my friend beat it on easy co-op from 4:30pm-2:30am. I don't know if it was the sleep deprivation but I cried for 20 minutes when Curly died. Edit: we listened to the Ridiculon ST the entire time.

I can hardly remember despite only having first played Cave Story in January of 2016 (short term memory and all) but i'm pretty sure i did the Neutral Ending.

Hah. My first time I accidentally got booster killed (I got annoyed of the Labrinth B jump), made sure to get the Spur and Whimsical Stars. And couldn't get past Misery. I later got a new (less laggy) computer and did the best ending because I knew how.
And in a mod I was making, I actually tried my best to make Curly's Death even more depressing (People's reactions are funny)

Well, I was developing it to have the Debug Cat tell you that you suck once you got into the house after hitting a newly placed Curly Death Trigger on a ledge under the Cabin. But it really didn't get far. Because I messed up all of the Faces when remaking the Mod. Really, I'm glad it's gone.

At first, It was just to see how different I could make Cave Story different by changing a few characters and songs. Also adding an airship ending before the Normal Ending. But I later decided to make a game for my comic character KingDinner. And eventually gave up when Money coding got weird.

There's a new <BUY command (which isn't built in TSC+) that @BLink made, if you wanna try that

That may help. Yet I really don't work on it because I'm using my Copyrighted characters in a Cave Story mod and I'm not sure my boss would be too happy about me giving away storyline in the mod.
