So recently I got this piece of hardware called the DVD maker usb 2.0; it came with RCA connectors so I hooked up my NES and old TV (takes RCA only) through audio and video spliters but when I went to record or even capture footage, it got the sound no problem but the video signal isn't showing up no matter what I do.....Is there a way to fix this or is there a capture program or piece of hardware I need????
Quick note (if it helps): The program that came with the dvd maker is called "Power Director"

you should probably just get like... a real capture card if you want to do this? rather than trying to jury-rig it through this DVD thing?

Yeah I'm currently waiting on the prices of the Elgato game capture card to go down, just using alternatives from around my house......
