Anyways, I went into Boston, The City That Burned Vancouver to the Ground, yesterday to see the fire cheese (pretty moderate) and hear some music (pretty awesome). While I was there, I saw:
A homeless man on the street asking for anything. Someone had nicely provided him with a box of condoms.
599,999 people
400,000 drunk people
At least one republican
At least one democrat
I also heard the National Anthem (which was okay), I Can Go the Distance from Herc (which made me feel proud about my country) and the 1812 overture (possibly the best song ever written).
I also had to get up four hours after I went to sleep for work.
Wooooooooooooo
Today's alright so far. A bit humid. That stuff above was all offtopic.
We had our annual Fourth of July party, but this year's was huge. Usually thirty or so people show up from around our neighborhood, but this year we sent an invitation to just about everyone in the area we knew. At first it was humid, then it was mild, then it was windy, then it rained for a bit. After that the weather calmed down, but some of the food and chairs were wet. Pretty sweet Fourth of July.
