Glitch or script error?

I want the hermit gunsmith to just be standing there chillin'.

But he's appearing like the pic on the left, and occasionally blinking to the pic on the right:

The Nurse Balrog sprite:

And the Dr. Gero sprite appeared as a Basu's face. A lot of other ones are perfectly fine, though (Toroko, Cthulu, King, Santa..).


Is this something I did wrong?

 

Change the sprite sheets that the map uses.

 

Awesome, I didn't realize there's another menu available from right-clicking in the map list
