First Time Player - Bug??

Hey Guys.

I'm a first time player of Cave Story. I'm LOVING it so far.

However.. I'm at the Sand level.. and I'm trying to complete the quest for the old woman (get the dogs). And.. I'm not sure if I've encountered a bug, or if it's my inexperience showing.. but, I cannot seem to find all of the dogs. I've even referred to walkthroughs (ugh!!) to ensure I've visited all the places where the dogs should be. But.. still.. I'm apparently one dog short.

Did you pick up the dog inside of Curly's house yet?
Did you talk to EVERYONE?

Yes. I've spoken to everyone.

Is Curly's house the house without any lights on? Yes, I've been in there and got the dog.

No. Curlys House is the first house in the Sandzone.

Try to talk to all of the young mimigas with Curly. One of them will trigger the ability to pick up that dog which you can't pick.
Try to talk to everyone for fun too. When the event got changed, you may talk to people again to gain information and to know what the heck is going on plus for fun! They might say some jokes too. Some characters may say more if you force them to talk again.

Remeber one thing - CS is almost completely bug free. The bugs that exist you'll have a hell of a time to find.
