Female Quote?

I'm adding on to this. It'd be an interesting thing to see, to say the least.

Not sure if other characters like MALCO or Ma Pignon (Pa Pignon) will get any changes, but hey, I want to see characters, both Major and Minor, to get whacked with the Gender-Bender Stick. Least then, they're official.

On that note, I've always been unsure about what gender Ma Pignon is. "Ma" does make me want to think it's a woman, but one thing that turned me away from that idea was the fact that in Curly Story, it says:

I've... lost. ... to a girl.

 

Despite its name, I've always thought Ma Pignon was male for some reason.

 

I just thought it was supposed to be similar to "champignon" except the "ch" is missing

 

I thought that as well, however, "Champignon" is a French word and "Ma" is a possessive word that indicates that a word is feminine in French. So I think it's supposed to be female. I hope you all enjoyed this pointless French lesson.

 

Gender swap would actually be a fun April Fool's update for CS+.

Do you all really want to play something like this? Female Balrog, male Misery. Swaps sound hilarious.

You should fix all the bugs that are still present in Cave Story+ before trying to add new content (like how the game freezes upon completing the Machine Gun challenge, and how the leaderboards and replays are broken, etc etc).

 

As much as I like the idea of a gender swap on April fools, I'm going to have to agree with GIR.

 

Hey, let's see if MetalSonic71 won't mind making the CS+ Ellipsis (female Quote) sprites. That'll be a sweet challenge to do.

I'm fairly sure the Ma in Ma Pignon simply stands for Demon, like in Ma Ou: Demon King.
Except it's Demon Pignon instead.
