What weapon goes the fastest (at level 3 or for the nemesis enemy level 1)

like you shoot it boom and then the bullets go out
I think the super missile launcher or the spur goes out the fastest but it could also be the bubbler or the machine gun or the fireball but probably not the fireball

I think the fastest weapon would be the machine gun.

 

This is probably easily determined using the game's code (as you mentioned), but if I'm basing this off of my own intuition, I would say probably the Super Missile Launcher? I remember it going really fast. Much faster than the regular Missile Launcher, at least. Most other guns have bullets that are rather slow, but the only one I can think that would rival the Super Missile Launcher is the Level 3 Polar Star (and Level 1 Spur?). That one starts off firing fast, whereas the missiles need to gain some acceleration, I think.

In regards to the Machine Gun, I'm for some reason thinking that it doesn't fire that fast. Maybe it's perceived to be fast because of its autofire. Or maybe it actually is that fast.

what about level 3 spur or is that slower

 

i'd go with the bubbler. the fact you can hold that many shots without them actually firing, and yet still have them do contact damage at level 3 is kinda op. level 2 is good, and level 1 has to be the worst.

I believe the super missile launcher lv3 is the fastest in terms of damage per second.
In terms of projectiles per second blade lv1/lv2 at close range would probably be the fastest.
The fastest in terms of projectile speed is probably the lv1 nemesis.
And the machine gun lv3 propels you upwards faster than any other weapon.

 

If you don't like ammo, lv1 nemesis is probably fastest. But aside from that, Super Missile Launcher, spur for damage, and machine gun for speed and autofire

 

Technically every weapon but the snake is the fastest because you can just walk up to a wall and do some perfect button mashing and spawn and despawn bullets every few frames or so.

if you count super missiles level 3 as 3 shots is hitting the super missiles super fast the best?
