everyone was afraid that too much recognition would mean that they would be pandered to and that would ruin the show. It's sort of baseless conjecture but whatever I guess there's always reason to be worried. Plus /co/ doesn't really like the term brony because it's more associated with /b/ and they tend to act like immortalshippo and go on about friendship and love a bit much
also lauren stepped down in the show (to some other position), and a few people freaked out about it but most people were all like: "you're acting like idiots this changes nothing"

Can't we all just get along and not get butthurt over what another person likes? It is not like whatever sexplosive, immortalshippo, cultr1, Cave Story, WD, WoodenRat, Marx, DoubleThink, Yakkers, Captain Fabulous and Ralren like is all super perfect mega awesome with nothing wrong with it at all.

Fandom. Not that I really hate it, I just don't understand what's the whole thrill about it. I don't necessarily hate the show, since I didn't really spend my time watching longer than 1 minute of an episode. When I first watched it, It just didn't catch my interest. Why would a massive population choose this show specifically to gain such a huge unnecessary fanbase? Sure, a person can enjoy a certain show, and everyone has their own tastes and views upon things, but with something like this, there's something wrong here. It's like the entire show has turned into a rolling bandwagon o' bullshit. Sometimes it just pisses me off when I just don't understand why there is such blasphemy on the internet.

You know, I may look back at this post I've made and figure out how stupid and mindless I was writing this, but I want my question answered. It may seem stupid that I want an answer so desperately, but it's been killing me. Either that, or I can shut up and spend my entire night researching about this on google, and hoping to find something significant about this. Not here to piss anyone off. Oh, and by the way, my porn sites that I go on are flooded with my little pony. That's another reason why I dislike it.

 

 

Programming has gotten so bad that people have resorted to above-average kid shows. There's also the crowd that likes it ironically.
This is my theory and I'm sticking to it.

I don't fully understand the craze, maybe partly because I never bothered to watch it or look into it. But overall I don't really mind, live and let live and whatnot. The lil' dragon guy (Spike?) is kinda cute, periodically I'll stumble upon an errant bit of fanart that makes me go 'aw.'
