I didn't know you could get out on the road >_> Thought it'd end something like that.

There's been just too many of these games. You know, little to no plot, "artsy" graphics, ends with someone's (usually the player character's) death and taking the Pixel approach to explaining the game. I'm sorry, I've seen just too many of these to actually enjoy it.

What am I supposed to understand? That this is just another Everyone Is Jesus In Purgatory story in the form of a game? And yes, that's exactly what this and every other similar game is. It just shows you some pretty images and lets you interpret it in any way you want. The difference between this and the other genres you mentioned is that they have actual gameplay (and actual story) and thus worth my time. If I wanted to see art, I'd go to a museum. And if I wanted to play such game, I'd go for The Company Of Myself (which has both story and gameplay worth talking about) or Shade (which is about the same as EDTSD, but beautifully written).
Dumbass.

SPOILERS BEWARE!
MEANING OF THE GAME!
Don't talk to the homeless and visit the cemetary with them.
Don't get out of your car randomly when on the highway and pet cows.
Don't stare and pick up leaves when you are late to work.
Don't go to work without clothes on.
AND Don't jump off friggin roofs!

*based on the statistics model at his workplace. Things were fine till he started doing those.
EDIT : Oh and don't take advice from SOME ELEVATOR LADY THAT STAYS IN THERE ALL DAY LONG!
Also it would help to set your alarm earlier so you aren't late EVERY DAY, and account for traffic. Also, wear something with color... plz?
SPEAKing of color, leave the TV on, it makes life a lot more colorful!

If this was all just a dream, then the guy needs to see a therapist. :D

[how I played it, I never got dressed except to jump off the roof lol]
EDIT: This is NOT a very good guide at conquering the world either. Trust me it won't work.
EDIT: Also the wife is as bad as the boss is; all she and he says is you're late! or you're fired! Totally unhealthy relationship...
Not as bad as I thought, if you get dressed properlly the wife doesn't yell at you! Much better.
I attempted to find bugs with the game, got the music to stop, and walked around but that's it... couldn't make it destablize :)

i dont really like games like this that try to be "artistic" because they forget that everything is artistic in its own respect. ofc, mathematics and by extension the sciences aren't artistic, but all else is

On the contrary, mathematics are quite artistic. It's just that the way they're typically taught in school makes them seem incredibly non-artistic.

You can use science to make art. Even some of the theoretical stuff can be made artistic by an artistic mind, and then there's what cheese said. I'm no good at math, so I'll just take his word for that.
Anyway, what's the message of this game? "LIFE SUCKS BECOME AN HERO"?

There is no message other than what you take from it.

Lots of things make it a bad game, that isn't one of them.

The creator must have had some point to make, not just whatever I think it is. He didn't make up a random series of events and say "You guys interpret this however you want." He was trying to say "YOUR LIFE IS MONOTONOUS. YOU ARE STUCK IN A RUT. EVERY DAY OF YOUR LIFE IS THE SAME. BE SPONTANEOUS AND DIFFERENT, THAT IS THE ONLY WAY. ALSO, SUICIDE LULZ." Or something to that effect.

It's possible that the author had a point to make when he was creating the game, however there is a slight problem with making a point that nobody knows what it is, and I believe we all know what the problem is. There is this literary concept of "Death of the Author" that states that anyone's interpretation of said work is as valid as its own author's. Then there's the fact that this game is supposed to be art, and as we all know, true art is incomprehensible, and thus open to interpretation. And finally, if you want to make a point, why not do it in a more comprehensible way?
Off-topic much?

There are many ways to go about refreshing one's life.

Jumping off a building isn't one of them.
