• Please stop embedding files/images from Discord. Discord has anti-hotlinking logic in place that breaks links to Discord hosted files and images when linked to from anywhere outside of Discord. There are a multitude of file/image hosting sites you can use instead.

1)...that you can trade back the Nemesis for the Blade?

On that note, last time I kept Blade (and Polar Star) for the whole game. I wasn't so much aiming for minimalist run but the Blade works pretty well against later forms of Ballos, regardless of the level.

2)...that until you fight Misery and Doctor, you can go back from Balcony back to Plantation and the rest of the game?

You need to drop perfectly center to get past the Press trap.

k? I thought mabye Pixel would do this to increase the difficulty of the Last Cave, and I thought if mabye you came in one way and you got the wind, you would get it the other way, too. Now is that so bad?

No, you're just not understanding him.
He's talking about how the game was made, as in, it was never designed to be played backwards.
There can't be a black wind if the event isn't even there.
Pixel either didn't expect people to walk through the cave backwards {Doubt it}, didn't want to cause the black wind to replay itself everytime you entered the Last Cave, or simply didn't care {Probably}.
Why bother with the extra work when they're not even suppose to do that in the first place?

And I would argue that his choice to let you go back through Last Cave was very intentional. If he didn't want people to go back, he would have locked the door.

The cave is specifically designed to be easier towards the beginning with your level 1 weapons, and harder towards the end when your guns are leveled. Bringing the weapons back down to level 1 at the end would not only be cruel to the player, but also bad game design.

I didn't say it was all three. Nor did I say that the work alone was a problem, just that it'd be more effort for something he probably wouldn't care about.

Locking the door to the Last Cave after you leave would have been a poor design decision, simply because, realistically, there's no reason the door would just randomly lock after you exit it. Of course, often in video games, some realism is sacrificed to avoid game-breaking sequence breaks and such, but going backwards through the Last Cave, while basically useless, has no potential to break the game, so there's no real reason to prohibit it.

And I actually didn't know either of those things until now; never bothered to check.
