Enough GIFs already

Am I the only one that's starting to get really tired of this latest "trend" in signatures? Some of these GIFs take forever to load and it's kind of annoying/distracting.

Please, think of the children. sig responsibly.

I've been meaning to change mine for a while now.
Of course, I was going to change it to another gif.
I would like to blame MetaSeraphim for starting this gifrenzy and state that I had a gif signature before it was cool.

I propose a new rule: 10 day ban to anyone who uses retardedly gigantic and/or flashy GIFs in their sigs.

I believe that statement has arisen before. Personally, I think the awesome face is overused, and shouldn't be in the smilies section.

GIFs load great for me, and aren't to distracting, but if other people are irritated by it, then...
meh I was sick of them anyway.

I'm just looking forward to when Meta comes back and sees that her GIF legacy has been toppled by Cpt Fab's puns.

 

Meta is the original gif'er, so I personally think she should be allowed to keep it
