Door Crash

Since I'm new here, I'll assume (hope) this is where this topic goes.

I'm working on my first Cave Story hack, it's been turning out very nice except for one thing.

My door crashes the game. The message is untranslated so I have no idea what it says, but here it is:

I can see some white text just behind and above the error message... Probably from <MNA (showing the map name)


This makes me think that your door script is just fine, but the problem is immediately when you're loading map #96...

 

That's me quickly entering the door upon loading the map with the broken door, even if I wait for the message to go away, it still crashes like that.

 

I pasted the script into Cave Story, it works fine for me. Maybe it's something else that's connected to the door?

 

Strange, is it a problem on my end?

An error on using a door is usually caused by a problem with the area you're heading to's tileset. Have you edited any tilesets?

 

Nope, completely unchanged tilesets.

 

Hmm...
In your mod's directory (where doukutsu.exe is), is there a file called error.log? If so, open it up and paste the error in here.

 

Can you just upload /all/ of the files? I can't take a look at the new maps with a vanilla executable.

the message says you're missing one or more necessary image files for the map you're trying to load.
