Distorted Travesty

Actually, this is quite a good game. It is extremely punishing and sort of mean, but the frustration is part of the experience and increases the final sense of achievement.
It's quite a wonderful combination of platforming, combat and puzzles. The story is sort of bland, but becomes a bit more interesting later on, and the game is rather humorous and nostalgic. I recommend it.

Yes, the kill chain messages are extremely annoying and unfitting; you can just turn them off.

 

Whoever made that game probably traveled back to 2004 and used some free game maker.
