Disable thumbnails

Can we please banish the idea of attached thumbnails from everyone's head? It takes like ten seconds to upload to an image hosting site, and that way you can embed or link your image without people having to have a giant downloads folder filled with pictures that they'll only look at once in their lifetime.

I've been wishing andwhy would disable that feature for ages

 

Maybe we could put in a thumbnail censor

Anyway. While I'm definitely not opposed to disabling thumbnails, would it be possible to simply make images appear in browser instead of downloading? Or maybe not require clicking the thumbnail at all?

 

That would be nice, but they probably can't due to site limitations or something along the lines of that.

I increased the max dimensions of the thumbnails, so the thumbnails will now be full sized images.

Along with what's said above though, I wonder if there's a way to spoiler or otherwise limit thumbnails when posting or on a personal level. Because...yeah. Giant images may or may not ensue.

Still has the potential to be a much more useful feature now that you can actually see it, though!

E: wait, I realize now that you can add it to post and spoiler it there. So that could solve it...let me check.
