Did I rescue Sue?

Trying to get a different ending, but I do not know if I did it right. I carried Sue all the way to the shark boss. I fell into the resevoir, but no sign of Sue. Did she run off?

 

Sue is the female Mimiga in the blue shirt you rescued in the Egg Corridor. You're talking about Curly Brace, and the shark boss is named Iron Head. You did everything right, don't worry.
Also, go back to the First Cave for great justice.

Yes, I did drain her. Also, I got my Polar Star finshed. Hurray for lazers.

I wonder if I rescue Sue under these circumstances...

1) Save Curly and do stuff for best ending.
2) Tell Kazuma you will escape with him, but don't get on dragon.
3) Run with Sue at end of game, and watch her jump off, but head back for hell.

 

The world may never know.

(In all seriousness, though, I'd assume that, yes, she is saved. I mean, she would be saved if she made that exact same jump with the good ending.)
