Soon(TM) there will be an update that will totally scrap the pile of garbage I called CSE's UI framework in favor of one that actually sorta functions: Swing.
A side-effect of this is that the UI will look more like a native application but that's not a bad thing because honestly the look I gave CSE was kinda bad.
This will also put @Miccs's window problems to an end.
TL;DR: Better UI is coming soon.
EDIT: Also @Miccs the reason the EXE didn't auto load is probably because you renamed your executable, IDK why I didn't consider that beforehand

CaveSaveEdit 4.0: The Awaited Update
  • The map preview will now display entities from the PIXEL bitmap! Thanks to @gamemanj for basically writing this feature
  • Added a "Search for Save Point" tool which allows you to jump to any save point
  • Added images to weapon, item & warp select
  • Removed shadow from main window. This should cause less problems with moving the window (@Miccs)
  • Fix app hanging when loading mod without profile
  • Fix flag editor setting the wrong flag when undefined/system flags are shown
  • Fix weapon & warp fields being completely off
  • Fix 290.rec editor outputting "corrupt" records

Hey, I have been trying to use CaveSaveEdit but when I reopen Cave Story it says my save file is corrupted and I can't use it.
I'm not sure why this is happening but any help would be appreciated, thanks.
