Balrog the suitcase/lunchbox: The suitcase/lunchbox thing was because the top of the door behind Balrog in your first encounter with him makes it look like he has a handle. Review the Balrog sprites. No handle. Now look at Balrog and the door during your first encounter with him.

Balrog the toaster: Despite him being boxlike he looks nothing like a toaster. Then again he looked more like a toaster after someone drew his face onto a toaster one day.

 

Yeah I'd say that's sufficient evidence to say that he's not a lunch box or suitcase but why do you think he's a robot?

 

Because someone made some fanart of his insides. And I think it's cooler if he's a robot. Plus he shoots missiles and has anti-gravity stuff.

 

I wont accept it cause robots are just really boring...
Balrog's character is way too exciting to be a robot.
Where did this Anti-Gravity theory come from anyway?

 

Because the little tiny stubs he calls arms would never support flight. Not even when they turn into wings. So he just uses them to steer, and he uses an antigravity device to fly. It's in a thread somewhere in the theories section.
But anyhow, Nicalis should start makin' some T-shirts. Someone inform them of this.
