Wow, I have not played many cave story mods (only 3) but this mod I have to say is amazing! I love the idea of a sequel mod, rather than something irrelevant to the original game. By the way, the plot for this mod is great!
I only found one bug, you did say you fixed it in the latest version which I played but Kazuma still said something like "That's all I know, good luck". Just pointing that out so you know to fix it.
Overall, this is great and I am looking forward to the new boss and more in the next update!

This mod is very nice! The new tilesets look very professional, the plot seems promising and it isn't impossibly hard like certain other mods.

Certain other mods meaning what exactly
Something that is actually a challenge like JN unlike something you can just blaze through in a half a day?

A Lost Land, Jenka's Nightmare, WTF Story, King's Story...
I don't really mean very easy things you can blaze through, it's just that quite a lot of mods are tedious/frustrating/not enjoyable due to extreme difficulty. This mod wasn't too easy and not too hard, so I liked it.

Chrome is saying that this file is detected to be malicious. I bet it is probably just Chrome being stupid. Am I the only one having this problem, though?

It's most likely because the file has only been downloaded 20 times or so.

It's not on a secure site or anything so yeah, Chrome will get after the file.

Gotta love a sequel mod that takes full potential of plot and level design, and executes it to almost maximum greatness. Really, this is a great mod, one of the best sequel mods I've seen in a while. For the record, is WTF Story a sequel mod or just a sort of spin-off?
I have just some small issues with the mod, despite how well made it is.
- In the Volcanic Caverns, the level design, being similar to Last Cave, is a bit unfair with enemy placement. Bats will often hit the player coming right out of the floor, while the player can't do anything to see it coming. So I suggest you make some floor or wall tiles partially see-through.
- A minor plot hole is when Quote teleports to Arthur's house, Curly and Balrog are already there, despite the fact that they seemingly disappeared after the player saves. To fix this, you could make it so that Curly and Balrog teleport to Arthur's house after Quote does.

I love the new aspects of the game, like an expanded Mimiga village, and the trio crashing after approaching the island. This mod has so much potential, I just love its premise. Looking forward to more.

Chrome says it's a virus, and Windows SmartScreen (after downloaded with IE) says that it could be a virus. Not playing until I get confirmation that it isn't a virus.

It's not. It's saying it is because it's been downloaded under 20 times and Windows just wants to protect your computer. Don't worry, it's not a virus!
There was only two times a CS mod came packed with a virus, and this isn't one of them. If you're still worried, scan it with a virus-removing software like AVG.

I may stop making mods someday, but I'll always check on every week.
I currently visit daily, these forums make me happy. But yeah, true;
we'll all leave eventually. Other people may take our spots, maybe these
forums will just plainly die... Who knows..? But if in ten years people
take our spots, I wonder who the new Noxid will be..? O_O
