Cave Story: Players guide and walkthrough book (In Development, hopefully to be finished by CS's ann

Hello, I have been playing alot of Earthbound lately and Ive been using the included Players guide to guide me through the game, and I was thinking: "What would a cave story players guide be like?", so i'm taking on the task of making a players guide!

Features I hope to add:
Simple action guides
Full Detailed Walkthroughs of levels
New Illustrations of every enemy, Character and Boss

I am doing this alone, but if anyone wants to contribute or help, feel free!

Please keep in mind that this is an early iteration and not the final product. Subject will most likely change.
Give me suggestions and Criticism so I can improve it. (Yes I know, it looks dull, Ill fix that later on, for now I just want to get the basic layout setup.)

Grammar might just be the least of your issues.

 

Is afterwards not a legitimate word? It's underlined in red.

Hopefully you'll either lighten the background or text because dark on dark makes it difficult to read.

Is this going to be based on fact, or are you also planning to give advice like what weapons to use, etc.?

There is something called Google! It works extremely well as a massive gaming-tutorial search site.

 

Hey this guy is doing a guide on every boss I could a least use this chance.

 

At the same time, a quick search to see what information is already present will take less time than having to wait for this guide to cover the Labyrinth. (Parkraft doesn't seem to have added any content past the First Cave yet.) Maybe he will be able to elaborate more with his guide, or perhaps it will just be a unified collection of all resources present.

I've finished First Cave, and I've finished the walkthrough for the first set of task in mimiga village (Silver Locket, balrog fight, getting key). So I have to go finish my screenshots for Egg Corridor and get working on that section of the guide.

For bosses, I'll have a little bubble with the stats of the boss, abilities and how to defeat the boss.
Ill also do the same thing for normal enemies, minus how to defeat them.

 

The life capsule area should be a boxout showing a screenie of the capsule location and directions on how to find it.

It is a legitimate word. Sometimes spell checkers have the occasional missing word that they incorrectly interpret as a misspelt word.

On another page, Ill have a map of the level layout with colored boxes where the doors and items are, and a legend, telling you what they are.

Also, I'm temporally putting this on hold due to schoolwork, But ill work on this when I'm off
