Cave Story+ (PC) Mimiga Ending!

Cave Story has multiple endings but in Cave Story+ there is a secret ending you can aquire by doing these objectives down below. This special ending is known as the Mimiga Ending.

[*]Drain/Reboot Curly
[*]Tow Rope/Save Curly
[*]Beat Misery,The Docter,Enraged Docter,and The Undead Core while wearing the *Mimiga Mask*

Finished you will now see the credits and there will be pictures of Quote wearing the *Mimiga Mask*

Are you sure it's not just the normal ending with the Mimiga Mask

 

It is the normal ending yes but there are diffrent credit pictures which show you Quote wearing the mimiga mask

Also, the only requirement for that ending is the last one, I think. You just need to fight the last bosses while still having the mimiga mask.

I thought this was common knowledge though, honestly.

 

GIRakaCHEEZER is right, all you need to get this ending is to not talk to Momorin before taking the rocket up. All the other requirements you listed aren't necessary, and the first one (Defeating Ballos) isn't even possible since you can't reach the sacred grounds without the Booster 2.0, which you don't have if you have the Mimiga mask. Furthermore, as GIR said, this is pretty common knowledge among hard core Cave Story fans, so this thread is kinda pointless. Even though NICALiS seems to count this as a unique ending, most people just consider it a variation of the normal ending, including pixel himself.

Two other theoretical endings:

Take the Little Man with you when you choose to elope with Kazuma.
"...Did you forget something?"
(screen goes black... pause... and then two Nemesis shot sounds)
(Fade in, Dragon flying back to the left, with Little Man riding)
GAME OVER

Take the Mimiga Mask and travel all the way back to the labyrinth, and talk to the Gaudi that talks about being hungry for Mimiga.

"Haha you're funny."
Now proceed to the clinc, and sleep where Curly Brace used to be. You will hear a sound.
When you wake up, talk to the nurse, she says someone is waiting for you in the abandonded clinc.

Go there, and it's empty...
When you try the door to leave, (It won't open!)

"So... you're the one who shot up the Gaudi nests..."
"We've been waiting for you..."
When you go to the middle, Pooh Black falls on your head, knocking you out.
It goes black and you hear a lot of Gaudi sounds.
GAME OVER

FYI the first list is a checklist of requirements, with some checked and unchecked. I'm pretty sure the idea was that the unchecked ones weren't necessary for this extra ending. I'm not sure there's much point in listing unchecked/unnecessary requirements though, really.

I never said it didn't, but "ballos" was never a checked requirement or whatnot.

 

Defeat Ballos
You can't access Hell without the Booster 2.0, and you can't have the Booster and mask at the same time.

290 Counter
Unnecessary. The counter is entirely optional. You can even access Hell without the counter, although you won't be timed.

Iron Bond
Restore Curly's Memories
Drain/Reboot Curly
Tow Rope/Save Curly
Again, not required to get this ending since it is simply a derivative of the normal ending.

Booster 2.0
Momorin will quite happily use the Booster 0.8 to finish the rocket.

 

If you looked closely at the OP (or read GIR's post from like three posts ago...) you'd notice that some of those requirements (Ballos, Iron Bond, restore Memories) are unchecked, indicating that they aren't required. The other parts of your post are correct, though.
