Cave Story on Xfire

Today Xfire released new patch which add Cave Story, so everyone can see you play it. For those who dont know what xfire is : www.xfire.com (site is a little bit laggy). Finely someone value authors for this game

I can't tell you how many times I thought about how wonderful this would be if it happened. And now I have a reason to use Xfire on a regular basis again!
For anyone wondering wtf is going on, Xfire is a gaming community that revolves around the program Xfire, which is a IM/VoIP/screen recorder/screenbroadcast and so much more. If you play video games, even just one, you should give Xfire a try. My favorite part is the clan system (which is quite extensive).

 

Of course, it would be much better to release the patch before Jacob started his The Multiple Run.

 

Yeah right, like everyone would download Xfire. People are too good for it.
In other news, I went to the website and I can't find Cave Story listed there. Link plz? All I got was this, which I found a looong time ago.

Re-edit: Works great. Mr. Fist gave me the wrong fucking path to put the folder it.

 

Guys, I think that Doukutsu Monogatari being added on Xfire will help it popularity if we play it right. I already made a clan for Mirai Gamer on Xfire (which you should join).

 

Just keep it open and paused in the background somewhere.
Rack up those hours.

By the way: you gotta put the files in C:\dou_1006\doukutsu\, since it only looks for C:\dou_1006\doukutsu\Doukutsu.exe.

 

I did not give you the wrong path, I told you to point it to the folder that contains doukutsu.exe, and the default was
C:\dou_1006\doukutsu

works on mine, but i had to update my graphic drives, because it had some problems >_<; (ages ago anyway)

 

For some reason Xfire is not logging my Cave Story time... WHY. It says I've played it once and that's it. I've been playing it ALL DAY.
Not actually, I mean, I just left it running while I was standing around Arthur's House, but there's no way Xfire can tell that I'm not playing it.
