To be honest your version of Misery feels a little off-model to me sometimes, but it's still consistent and well-drawn. The variety of art styles is really interesting to see in this montage, it's very creative!

I get my version of her looking off-model but in the end it's just my interpretation of her design, not necessarily going 1:1. Her appearance is based on drawings made by a couple friends and the death lady from the "Do The Evolution" music video lol, some people like it and some hate it but personally I vibe with it so I keep drawing her like that.

Also good point about the 9x8 didn't think of that at all lol, oh well it is what it is

...huh. okay. so there is some sort of precedent. not that it makes a lot more sense... but yeah, impressive that you got the style and everything so accurately down

 

The dialogue that fills the screen at the end is a reference to "The Screamer", an old PC88 dungeon crawler / "platformer" with heavy emphasis on posthumanity and how machines would be used to tame it.

There's almost next to no English documentation on the game, so I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert on what that game's plot is. But there's NPCs to talk to and extremely clunky controls, all in all looks like Madou Monogatari for angsty guys instead of angsty girls

Hi guys!! Thank you!! The artstyle was inspired from artists and animations like xgigglegunkzx's nothing but amen beats & hardstyle kicks, ballshemiers, omeger, etc.!!! That might be the reason why it looks nostalgic!!
