I remember there being a thread about what is on Quote's hat. I also remember that there was a folder of unreleased pics of pre-Cave Story and I think one of the pics showed "Curly Brace" on Quote's hat... >_>

Curly brace was supposed to be Quote's name before Pixel changed his mind anyways

In the Quote's Cap thread? All that established was Quote was initially called Curly Brace, and thus, the name on the hat.

Pixel also confirmed on his BBS that Quote's cap read "Curly Brace". So up until late 2006 the hat has been officially confirmed to bear upon it the words "Curly Brace", I doubt Pixel has changed his mind about it.

That doesn't apply to artwork even if it's canon IMO.

I 'unno. I might make a King prequel mod in the future. So the red flower war might have Miakid. And I may show the other Demon Crown rulers, like, how the crown was passed from one to another.
