Here's a Balrog I did in Paint. Balrog is by far the easiest Cave Story character to draw.

Balrog is by far the easiest Cave Story character to draw.

From the way you drew him, it sure looks like you have hurt Balrog's feelings for what you said about him. All toasters robots need some love, too.

Kazuma's and Quote's smiles look odd. Maybe shorten Quote's smile a bit. Something like this:

That aside everything else about your sketch is amazing.

 

Yours is good too, baka. Certainly better than others who have posted art here, and you're probably younger than most of them as well.
jcys hasn't been online for years(?) so he likely won't be much help.

This is from a really long time ago. I had just finished the game once or twice, and I hadn't known anything about limited-color bitmaps or custom palettes or modding. I had just figured out that the '.pbm' extensions can actually be opened in paint! I had been fascinated enough to copy from the spritesheets and make a few pictures:
