Increasing the resolution will generally increase the resolution.
Getting a bigger monitor and/or making the display area of the program larger. Monitors these days can have resolutions of up to 2,560x1,440 pixels, and if you have good enough specs you can make games to run at that resolution, on a 32-bit system. If you're looking for a higher resolution than that then I don't know what you want.Bombchu Link said:I'm not saying that I didn't know this information, but what exactly does increase the resolution?
No it doesn't. All this shows is your clear misunderstanding of what 64-bit means.metalsonic71 said:Cave Story runs off of 320x240 if I'm not correct, so if we can add that up too not 640x480 resolution but 1280x720 then the Theory "64-bit" comes into play,
Your talking too a dead thread here, I want to discuss how we can possibly have a greater count of bits on screen like plus for nicalis to look into.WarCheif said:People don't seem to know what 64-bit means in a computer.
64-bit therefore refers to a processor with registers that store 64-bit numbers. A generalization would be to suggest that 64-bit architecture would double the amount of data a CPU can process per clock cycle. Users would note a performance increase because a 64-bit CPU can handle more memory and larger files. One of the most attractive features of 64-bit processors is the amount of memory the system can support. 64-bit architecture will allow systems to address up to 1 terabyte (1000GB) of memory. In today's 32-bit desktop systems, you can have up to 4GB of RAM (provided your motherboard that can handle that much RAM) which is split between the applications and the operating system (OS).
You still have no clue what the fuck you're talking about.metalsonic71 said:a greater count of bits on screen
It's useless to have more then 32 bits. (or 64 if your picky)metalsonic71 said:Your talking too a dead thread here, I want to discuss how we can possibly have a greater count of bits on screen like plus for nicalis to look into.
Anyone seeing this?
