Bosses are gone?

First: Hiya, I'm new here

Second: While making a mod for Cave Story about some friends of mine, the core and Balfrog are missing @_@
Can someone help me? Please

 

Core and Balfrog are not "entities" per se, they are "special bosses". In other words, there is no Core or Balfrog entity that you can simply add to the map wherever you want. Core and Balfrog (and many other bosses) are bound to the maps that they are in, and so you can only use them in those maps.

That's odd, I never touched those maps..

 

Then if you enter the game and play those maps, I would imagine the bosses will work.

It's probably safe to alter the maps, too. You just need to have the script trigger, I think (in the case of Balfrog, it's on the chest).

 

Yeah, you can edit the maps all you want, but the boss has to have the same location. You don't even need to have the same script trigger, you can just manipulate the boss using the <BOA command, and then start the boss fight using <BSL0000
