There was one I think, but I forgot what it was called. There is also one with unlimited booster and EVERYTHING covered in death trap spikes. :p

EDIT:

I use that horrible little place called the Plantation to practice my boostah skillz...
Dodging bats etc...

But I could help you more if I knew wheather this was Final Cave or Final Cave (Secret)...

Also, what secondary weapon do you have (Machine Gun, Snake or Spur?)

Why minimal items if you havn't mastered the Booster? I sugest going back to the laberynth for the missile launcher, around grasstown and the egg corridor for missiles, and trading in the Polar star for either the snake or the spur. Spur being the better choice, as it's essentially the most overpowered weapon.

But if he made it to the final cave with minimal items, this guy's gotta be pretty good.

No biggy.

...

Hmmm...
Well, I see you like a challenge...
Took me a fair number of tries to do this myself...
I'm fairly certain it's just a matter of learning the FC stratagy...

Where do you usually die?

Start area (lava ponds)
Second phase (Lava lakes and bats)
Stairway to Heck (The spike stairs of doom)
The Moat (That annoying mass-booster rush across more lava)
Red Demon Battle (Self-explainitory)
Press Gauntlet 1 (The spaced ones)
Press Gauntles 2 (The solid ones)
Those Last 2 Critters

(I'm aware that it isn't really lava, just faster than typing "red 10 damage water"...)

The falling blocks is where I'm stuck at on my 3 HP run, too... Darn unluckiness of mine and that random positioning generator for the blocks... And Youtube videos make it look so easy!

Anyways, Congratulations!

I use the Blade lv. 2 at SG B2 to handle the butes more effectively.
Yeah but the Butes are not the problem, it is the blocks that kill ya.

No, it's the having only 3 or 55 hp.
Either way, you can't blame the enviroment for your own shortcomings.

Edit: The blocks fall in a pattern. It's not too hard to follow it.

But the Butes are nothing really, they can barely touch you, and when they do its for only 5dmg. The blocks on the other hand cause 10dmg and require a fair amount of skill to navigate, though when I am past B2 I can easily regain my health on B3.

Er... you take the life capsule in a 3HP run, don't you >.>?

And I've had far worse experiences with the butes than the blocks - try hell in 3 HP, why don't you?

Mapping and coding-wise, they're just red water+spike tiles.

Just open profile.dat in your hex editor of choice (after backing up the original) and hack your health (found at 01C-01D) to 65535 (FFFF).

Play around with the booster as much as you want.

Though this is a bit late, I figure someone will find this helpful. (or you could use it to practice for hell)
