Which item form Cave story is most useful for you? In my opinion its the life pot. Just when you think your dead.....its saves you.... :heart:

Definitely the Booster 2.0. It's entirely possible to make it through the Sacred Ground without the life pot, but if you so much as even try to go through there without the Booster 2.0, you'll either die before you can get 1/6 of the way through B1, or you'll be stuck at the beginning for the rest of eternity. And of course I don't need to explain why the others aren't as useful. Except maybe the Mushroom Badge...

Eh. This question is a bit too narrow.

Mr. Little because he gives interesting dialogue 'n stuffs and is very useful if you want to break your minimal item challenge since he's an extra item.

no, they are definitely items. The have a <ITE command and are in the item tileset, good enough for me.

I would say the best item is... the Alien Medal.
Yeah, I know it's useless, but for some reason it reminds me of my first cat Raichu.
The Booster v2.0 is the second best item for me.

I think Life Pot.REALLY important.Without that,some people may not be able to beat ballos unless they are a master at beating hell

It's super easy to beat Ballos without the life pot. Sometimes on speed runs, I forget to use it.
