Start dancing hysterically.

 

Catch up to him, grab him, put him in the hole where the grave was, and slam the statue back onto where it was before.

Done. You also pick up the gun. It's a bit small for your giant hands, but you should still be able to use it, albeit with somewhat less-than-optimal efficiency. And you also start dancing hysterically.

On an unrelated side note, did anyone else notice that the forum postcount just broke 100,000?

 

Loot the house for more stuff.

 

You look into the house, but to your surprise, it turns out it's not a house at all, but just had one floor that the man was standing on before and was just a hole extending indefinitely downward into the ground.

 

Jump in the hole.

 

After a long fall, you land in a large lake in the middle of a vast cavern. The impact is very painful and causes some minor injuries, making it difficult to swim (and you weren't a very good swimmer to begin with). The nearest shore is about 165 feet (50 meters) away. The depth of the lake where you are is just slightly more than your height.

EDIT: I just realized both of the BDAs involve falling/jumping into vast mysterious caverns. Weird O_o

Examine your surroundings

 

After much struggling, you eventually get near enough to the shore that you can comfortably stand on the bottom of the lake. You then notice a very old man moving quickly toward you on a strange hovering device. Examining your surroundings, there's not much to see, except there are a lot more torches than just the two near the lake placed periodically to prevent the cavern from being totally dark. In the general direction that the man came from, you see a brighter source of light, as well as some indistinct shapes, but it's too far away to see any details.

You can't find your gun. You must have dropped it in the lake somewhere.

 

Dive into the water to search for the gun.

Be careful how long you say under though, since like in Cave Story/Duke Nukem, you only have 100 air.

 

You dive into the water. It's crystal clear but you can't see your gun anywhere. When you come back up, the man looks at you with his badly drawn face and says:

 

DAMNIT. ninja'd. ok, let him heal you.

 

Screw that!
Beat the shit out of him!
He's probably a spy!

 

You say, "Okay, fine, heal me." He shoots you with a tranquilizer gun. When you wake up, you find your injuries to be completely healed. You are in a giant sized tent. You leave the tent and, to your great joy, find yourself in a sort of village of giants. Living in a human world, it's been years since you've seen another giant, and you've never seen this many in one place.

Meanwhile, back on the Earth's surface...

 

You say, "Okay, fine, heal me." He shoots you with a tranquilizer gun. When you wake up, you find your injuries to be completely healed. You are in a giant sized tent. You leave the tent and, to your great joy, find yourself in a sort of village of giants. Living in a human world, it's been years since you've seen another giant, and you've never seen this many in one place.

Get some information from the giants.
Also give the main character something to distinguish himself from the others.

 

Take one of the torches surrounding you and keep it as a weapon.

 

But on a left shoe.
