If you don't want to bump, you can still just use the "edit" button, so I don't see it being much of an issue.

 

I'm going to be technical here.
9999999999999999 minutes = 6944444444444.444 days.
99999999999999999999999999999999999999999999 = who knows how long.
So basically it's entirely impossible to double post to announce the update of a mod in one's own lifetime, or something like that.

Wow, that is... grim.

That's nothing. The lifespan of our planet is a blink of an eye compared to such numbers.

Well the current state of the universe (post big bang) has only been around for a bit less than 3 times the current age of our planet thus far. But the universe itself has likely been around for far longer than we can imagine.

That "duplicate post" bug's been around before this change that disabled double posting. It has to do with lag or something/we're not entirely sure the cause. We've just had to clean them up when we see them.
