lol! It's not mine it's JTE's. And it does say: "Beta 8/16/07 Dedicated Server" ya can't read can ya? (And its dedicated.zip not Detected.zip.)

 

This sounds awesome, but I can't figure how the hell to get it working. I've got bothe the Dedicated and the NewKing mod. When I load the dedicated.exe, it says "Initialized, but doesn't do anything from there. I've followed the instructions in the Readme, but it doesn't do anything.
This sounds sexy, and I don't want to miss out.

 

You need to run the Agora.exe, dedicated is just for running a own server, you need to join and type in my IP adress in Agora.exe after running King.bat.

I just tryed it out. You can tell it is a beta but it still works fast. Sadly there were no other players on when I joined. It works even with dial-up which is awesome.

 

There were atleast 4 people on my server this day
Normally there is nearly noone who plays on it lol

Note that one had a old version and caused errors; people update your versions!

 

GAH! What am I doing wrong? I run King.whatever it opens the Cave Story window, I click on join type in (exactly):84.131.87.40. It says "connecting..." then puts me back at the title screen. HMPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

nah it gets boring after a bit so just change ur name to someone elses and pretend your them

Note: to change name in game
press space then type /nick (typeherewhatyouwant)
without brackets and no capitals in the command nick eg NOT => Nick, NICK

Huh? There don't have to be a difference it's just simple:

Never join with a old version, that cause the game go out of synchro and make it buggy! You may report that bugs that only caused because you had a old version which was playing with a new one and JTE has more bugs to fix then. (Alltough she wouldn't need to if you had joined with a new version)

And you wasn't the one joining with a old version, im not talking about the doukutsu version, im talking about the version of Agora Legends.

A new version have bugfixes or new things so it's not good to join with a old one. That's like you're trying to make a modem work with a dsl cable; it can't work
