As you are about to pay for the key, Red Ketsueki comes walking over to you.
"We meet again...unfortunately." Link scowls fiercely at Red.
"Now now, don't be unfriendly. I saw that you wanted the key to Room 4."
Perc asked how he afforded it but Red quickly dismisses it, saying "don't ask so many questions".
Red notices that Link has his sword drawn already. "What? You want to fight me for it?"
With a swift movement Red slashes at Link and appears behind him. His left arm gushes blood.
"Maybe later, I'm a busy man."
He tosses the key to Perc and says, "don't worry about Link, the cute maid in Room 4 will take care of you."

^Yeah um dunc feel free to ignore any of that if it doesn't suit the direction you're driving the story in.

The group takes the key looking back at Red and deciding it's best not to question this almost act of kindness. Qwexe swipes the key and runs of to the room like a little schoolgirl wondering what is inside. It turns out the room is incredibly beautiful but only made for 4 people, so when the others arrive he says he'll sleep in the bathtub. Then he calls for the maid to help Link before falling asleep.

Red suddenly appears in an open window.
"I see you found the room. I almost forgot to tell that I left a little 'surprise' in your room for you." He grins devilishly and somersaults out the window. He then jumps back in. "Also the maid's name is Nayru. She's my girlfriend, touch her and you die." He then leaves once again.

That's a pity, she really is quite cute.

As Malpercio makes the cupcakes his expression becomes much more worried as he realizes that Red is going to figure out what happened eventually, and that someone's going to die.

Because even if it doesn't hurt, force meets object causes transfer of momentum. So, even if it didn't hurt, you still got kicked through the ceiling
